One of the most prominent players for Mumbai Indians over the years has been Ambati Rayudu. He has been a prolific run-getter for the franchise since 2010 and has been instrumental in team’s success heavily. He was amongst the top 3 run-getters for the side for the initial 3 years that gave him a berth in the Indian ODI side for the tour to Zimbabwe in 2013.
But in his international career so far, he has featured in only 34 ODIs and 6 T20Is. He still averages 50.24 in the 50-over format and did decently well in the short span but he was unlucky not to find more games with the national side.
