While playing the third and final ODI, Virat Kohli reached another milestone. He scored most fifty-plus scores being a non-opener in the ODI.

Kohli’s record:

India is playing the third ODI against Australia in Rajkot. Australian batters were in a good space. They put on a target of 353 in front of Indian batters. He got out on 56 on 61 balls.  He hit 5 boundaries and 1 over boundaries with a strike rate of 91.80. While scoring the runs he reached another milestone. He scored the most fifty-plus scores by a non-opener in ODIs. He scored 112 half-centuries till now. He equals that stats with Sri Lankan legend 112 and left Ricky Ponting behind.

In today’s match, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Australia gave a mighty start as David Warner scored a half-century. But Mitchell Marsh missed his century by four runs and got on a delivery by Kuldeep Yadav. Steve Smith scored 74 out of 61 balls. Labuschagne also played well. He scored 72 in 58 balls. Depending on those performances, Australia Put 352/7 on board at the end of 50 overs.
