While asked about his spell and bowling in the post-match presentation told that he always thinks about wickets.

“I always think about the wickets. I feel whenever you bowl in T20s, and you take wickets, then you put the opposition team under pressure. I never change my bowling, I try to bowl to my strengths.”

The Delhi Capitals bowler, who is playing only the second match of this season also revealed his strategy of bowling to Hardik Pandya. Mishra picked up the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in one over and then went on to dismiss Kieron Pollard and Ishan Kishan. “I always think about variations not change in pace. Whenever he (Hardik Pandya) comes, I’ll go for a wicket. I just tossed it up, went for the wicket and got it.”

Amit Mishra is a legendary name in the Indian Premier League. He could not play entire IPL in 2020 due to injury. Now he is six wickets away from Lasith Malinga’s 170 scalps. Regarding the pitch, Mishra opined, “The pitch was little bit holding there, just trying to bowl in the right areas,” he added.

After playing his first game of the season against Chennai Super Kings he was dropped for giving away 27 runs in three overs without taking a wicket. But the spin friendly track in Chennai made the management call him back against Mumbai Indians.
