Nortje leads all bowlers with the best average of 10.16 and an economy rate of 5.36 among those who have bowled 50 or more overs in the tournament.
Veteran South African bowler Dale Steyn is standing in the second position of the list. He has secured 30 wickets for South Africa in the T20 World Cup. Morne Morkel is standing on the third position with 24 wickets and Kagiso Rabada is on the fourth position with 22 wickets.
South Africa’s Amazing Performance:
In the first match of the Super Eight stage, South Africa faced the USA. The match was excellent as South Africa showcased their excellence and defeated the USA by 18 runs. While batting in the first innings, South Africa has showcased their dominance. While opening the innings, de Kock played an exciting innings of 74 runs in 40 balls. Skipper Aiden Markram scored 46 runs in 32 balls. Klaasen and Tristan Stubbs added 36 and 20 runs. With that exciting effort, they post a total of 194/4 in 20 overs.
While bowling in the second innings, the South African bowlers showcased their domination. Kagiso Rabada was excellent. He conceded 18 runs in 4 overs and secured 3 wickets with an economy rate of 4.50. Anrich Nortje, Keshav Maharaj and Tabriaz Shamsi secured 1 wicket each. They restricted the USA in 176 runs and registered a win.
