The match became exciting as Australia gave a strong start and kept the domination lived throughout the innings. The Namibian batters failed to make an impact and kept struggling. 

While struggling, Namibia got all out in just 72 runs and recorded the lowest T20 Total against Australia. While opening the innings, Micheal van Lingen scored 10 runs in 10 balls. Skipper Gerhard Erasmus scored 36 runs in 43 balls. Apart from those knocks, no other batters got a chance to stand tall and play an impactful innings. Namibia ended their innings with 72 runs.

After winning the toss, Australia opted to bowl first. They used the conditions in the best possible way. In the first innings, Josh Hazelwood got the first breakthrough as he dismissed Niko Davin. After that, there was no look back for Australia. The bowlers kept troubling the Namibian batter. Adam Zampa was brilliant. In 4 overs, he conceded 12 runs and secured 4 wickets. Josh Hazelwood and Marcus Stoinis secured 2 wickets each. Cummins and Nathan Ellis got one each. They restricted Namibia in just 72 runs.

The target was easy and the Australians did their job perfectly. While opening the innings, David Warner and Travis Head gave a good start. Warner scored 20 runs only in 8 balls and got out. After that, skipper Mitchell Marsh joined Head and the duo secured the 9-wicket win of the team. With this win, they have qualified for the Super 8 stage.
