Babar acknowledged the fan’s request and took a selfie with him despite shoving away the hand. The incident happened prior to the September 12 start of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024.

Babar was named captain of Pakistan’s T20I team, but he wasn’t given that title. In the five-team competition, he will represent Stallions, captained by Muhammad Haris. In addition to him, none of the five teams selected Shan Masood as their captain. Star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi was appointed the Lions’ captain, while Saud Shakeel will head the Dolphins.
Babar’s form has been off lately
