Bangladesh made a big movie by signing former Indian allrounder Sridharan Sriram as a technical consultant for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. As per reports, Sriram will join the Bangladesh squad in Guwahati on September 27, just before their warm-up matches.

Sriram’s role in the Bangladesh Cricket Team:

He was also the head coach of Bangladesh in the T20s. He took Bangladesh to the T20 World Cup in Australia.

BCB Cricket chairman Jalal Younis believes that Sriram will give valuable input to the team which will play an important role in the World Cup. He said,” Sriram has joined as the technical consultant. We will get a lot of technical support from him.” Later he added,” He knows all the wickets in India. He can tell us about the weather conditions too. Very few of our players have played in India, so his input will be quite important.”
