Bangladesh Squad for ICC World Cup 2019 Has Been Announced

After New Zealand, Australia and India, Bangladesh became the 4th team to announce the squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Mashrafe Mortaza will lead the side with Shakib Al Hasan being his deputy. Shakib had missed out on the tour of New Zealand due to a finger injury. Most of the selections were quite expected. Abu Jayed is the only controversial pick as he hasn’t played a single ODI yet. Taskin Ahmed didn’t find a place in the squad after missing the New Zealand tour due to a ligament injury. Mosaddek is the other surprise inclusion. He had last played in ODI for Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2018.
