Sarfaraz Khan Rejoins Mumbai
Sarfaraz Khan, who was unable to secure a spot in the playing XI during India’s recent Test matches against Bangladesh, will return to his home team, Mumbai. The 26-year-old batsman has a remarkable record, amassing 4,183 runs in 50 First-Class matches. His inclusion is expected to bolster Mumbai’s batting lineup alongside seasoned players like Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, and Prithvi Shaw.

Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal Join ROI Squad
Wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel and left-arm pacer Yash Dayal have also been released by the BCCI to join the ROI squad. Jurel’s performance during India’s series against England has positioned him as a strong contender for the wicketkeeper role. He will be competing with Ishan Kishan, who made his Test debut earlier but faces stiff competition from Jurel’s impressive form.

The ROI team will be captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, with Abhimanyu Easwaran serving as vice-captain. Both players are looking to establish themselves as viable backup options for India’s Test squad.
