BCCI releases the WPL theme song ahead of the historical inaugural day

The Women’s Premier League is all set to begin in less than 12 hours from now on. Ahead of the first game, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the WPL anthem ‘Yeh Toh Bas Shuruaat Hai’.

The anthem encapsulates the very spirit of the Indian Women’s Premier League, paying tribute to the indomitable spirit and unrelenting perseverance of its players. It is a celebration of the incredible achievements of these women athletes, who have overcome numerous obstacles and faced countless challenges to reach the pinnacle of their sport.

The lyrics of the song are a powerful testament to the courage, grit, and determination of the women cricketers who have fought tooth and nail to establish themselves in a male-dominated field. Through their hard work, dedication, and talent, they have shattered stereotypes, shattered barriers, and proven that nothing is impossible if one sets their mind to it.

The song serves as an inspiring call to action for all aspiring women cricketers, urging them to stay focused and committed to their goals, no matter how daunting they may seem. It reminds us that with hard work, perseverance, and a never-say-die attitude, anything is achievable and that the sky’s the limit for those who dare to dream big.
