BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has officially announced the launch of the advanced facility, marking a major milestone in the advancement of cricket infrastructure in India. The new academy is set to enhance training and development opportunities for future cricketing talents.

BCCI’s Great Initiative Towards Further Cricket Development:

In a recent update, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah posted new photos of the nearly completed National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, Karnataka on X (formerly Twitter). The images showcase the new facility, highlighting its advanced design and readiness. This development is a significant step forward for cricket infrastructure in India, marking the near-final phase of the NCA’s construction.

The new National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, located next to the famous M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, significantly outshines the old facility. As the existing venue struggled to accommodate the increasing demands of cricketers, the upgrade was crucial. True to expectations, the BCCI has delivered a state-of-the-art, expansive facility that addresses the pressing need for enhanced infrastructure. This advancement marks a major improvement and reflects the board’s commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the cricketing community.

The upgraded National Cricket Academy boasts top-tier amenities, featuring three cricket grounds, 45 practice pitches, and indoor facilities. It also includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool and advanced training, recovery, and sports science resources. These state-of-the-art features are designed to aid cricketers in both rehabilitation and peak performance, ensuring they stay match-ready for key cricketing seasons.
