Bhuvi Takes His 150th Wicket For The Team, Becomes First SRH Bowler To Do So

As the Delhi Capitals vs Sun Risers Hyderabad match progresses forward, New records keep being made, broken, and remade. This time it is Indian cricketer and right arm swinger Bhuvneshwar Kumar, or Bhuvi As his fans like to call him, being the first SRH bowler to take 150 wickets in the history of IPL.

There seems something different about today’s match at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Both the teams, SunRisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals seem high on energy, and have been making records throughout. SRH got to bat after DC won the toss, choosing to bowl first.

SRH is a team that’s on the verge of being famous for scoring a lot of runs “run machine SRH” is the term fans have started using. Considering this, DC’s choice on letting them bat first could be a brilliant way to get into the run-chasing mentality. While DC has scored 148/4 it will be very interesting to see whether DC captain Rishabh Pant took the right decision after winning the toss.

David Warner becomes Bhuvi’s 150th wicket

Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not start the over well but ended it perfectly, by getting rid of Warner. After this, both the opening batsmen for DC were back into the pavillion by the end of 2 overs. After the ball was slower than Warner anticipated, it was Pat Cummins who completed the catch.

Warner had only scored a run in 3 balls before falling from grace. With this, Bhuvneshwar gets another feather added to his cap, by becoming the first SRH bowler in history of IPL to take 150 wickets.

Four wickets down for DC at 148 runs

The situation for DC while seemed good during power play, the fans now seem unsure. As the end of the game slowly approaches, DC require 119 runs in 50 balls. This means their required run rate is 14.1 while their current run rate is 12.75

The fans of both SRH and DC are all on edge of their seats hoping and wishing for a victorious ending for their teams.
