As England thrashed India to take 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series, Jos Buttler stayed unbeaten with 83 runs. It was his efforts that helped the visitors win the match with ease. Speaking in the post-match conference he said that he likes to stay not out at the end.
How Buttler Leads England to Win
England keeper-batsman Jos Buttler helped England chase down 158 runs in the third match of five-match T20I series against India. He scored an unbeaten 83 and said hitting his first six gave him confidence. Virat Kohli once again stood up for India earlier in the day. Kohli literally dragged through initially and provided the much-required support. Kohli and Hardik Pandya collected 69 off the final five overs to take the team score to a decent 156 from being 87/5 in 15 overs.
Jason Roy left early during the chase but Buttler did not slow down. Along with Dawid Malan, he added 58 for the second wicket. Then it was the pair of Buttler and Jonny Bairstow at the middle who scored the remaining runs for England. England won by eight wickets with 10 balls remaining to secure a lead in the series.

What Buttler Says?
While speaking about his batting in the post-match conference, Jos Buttler said, “It was nice to spend time in the middle and I always like to stay not out at the end. Every time you get early wickets in the powerplay, it sets you up. It just felt like a good time to attack [at the top]. It was nice to chance my arm a bit.”
He further added, “The first six off got me up and running and gave me confidence. I just tried to get across what a special achievement it is to get to 100 matches, being the first English [men’s] player to do that.”
