Fanatec, known for its high-quality sim racing equipment, is a brand under the German company Endor AG. This strategic move expands Corsair’s portfolio into the sim racing sector, enhancing its range of gaming products. The acquisition aims to integrate Fanatec’s innovative technology with Corsair’s established expertise, promising to offer gamers even more advanced and immersive racing experiences.
Corsair Acquires Fanatec Sim Racing Brand:
Fanatec, a leading name in sim racing, specializes in steering wheels, pedals, and cockpits for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Established in Germany in 1997, Fanatec is now set to be acquired by Corsair. The acquisition includes Fanatec’s entire product range and its workforce. The deal is pending approval from German regulators, following the signing of a definitive agreement between the two companies.
In May 2024, Corsair revealed its plan to acquire the German sim racing firm Fanatec through its official website. The acquisition is now in the final stages, with Corsair announcing the signing of a definitive agreement with Endor AG. This deal includes the complete Fanatec product line and its employees. Fanatec will maintain its headquarters in Germany and continue its sim racing product development as usual under Corsair’s ownership.
Corsair Aims to Expand Fanatec’s Reach:
A key objective for Corsair and Fanatec is to expand operations and enhance the accessibility of Fanatec products by leveraging Corsair’s established supply chains and partnerships. While financial specifics of the acquisition were not disclosed, Fanatec will join Corsair’s portfolio alongside other notable brands such as SCUF, Origin PC, and Elgato. This move aims to integrate Fanatec’s offerings more seamlessly into Corsair’s broader network and distribution channels.
