Held in Jeddah, the event showcased fierce bidding wars, with Gujarat Titans initially winning Noor for ₹5 crore before CSK outbid them.

Gujarat tried to use their Right to Match card but stepped back when CSK escalated the bid to INR 10 crore.

Noor Ahmad, a left-arm wrist spinner, has an impressive record in the IPL. 

Over 23 matches, he has claimed 24 wickets, maintaining an economy rate just above 8 runs per over. 

Known for his ability to outfox batters with sharp turns, Noor is expected to strengthen CSK’s bowling lineup.

In addition to Noor Ahmad, CSK also roped in experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, versatile New Zealand batter Devon Conway, all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, and Indian pacer Khaleel Ahmed. 

These signings highlight CSK’s focus on balancing experience and youth in their squad. 

With INR 16.8 crore left in their purse, they still need to fill seven roster spots.
