The Indian men’s cricket team is gearing up to host New Zealand for an exciting three-Test series as part of the 2023-25 World Test Championship. This series, taking place in October and November 2024, will mark the end of India’s home Test fixtures for the 2024-25 season.
The series will kick off on October 16, 2024, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Following the first Test, the teams will head to Pune, where the second Test will be held from October 24 to 28. The final match of the series is set to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from November 1 to 5. Each match is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM local time.

Ahead of the important series, New Zealand middle order batsman Daryl Mitchell was seen training hard in the nets. The star all rounder has seen working hard in nets. The batter has travelled to Dubai before getting ready for a big series. He is working with Siddharth Lahiri, a member of support staff from Rajasthan Royals. Lahiri is the head of coaching of Rajashthan Royals Academy. Lahiri was seen giving some important tips to the Kiwi Superstar.

India and New Zealand have clashed 62 times in Test matches, with India emerging victorious in 22 encounters while New Zealand has won 13. Notably, India has a dominant record in the subcontinent, winning 17 out of 36 Tests played at home against New Zealand. The last time India lost a home Test to New Zealand was in 1988, further solidifying their stronghold in familiar conditions.
