Delhi Capitals will play their first match of Indian Premier League 2022 on March 27 i.e. on the second day of the league. This will be the second match and also the first of the 12 double-headers of the edition. Delhi will take on Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne stadium for the match scheduled to begin at 3.30 pm. Interestingly Delhi’s last match of the league stage will also see them taking on Mumbai Indians on May 21 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
The BCCI media release read, “In all, 20 matches each will be held at Wankhede Stadium & DY Patil Stadium, 15 matches each at Brabourne and MCA International stadium, Pune.”
