South Delhi Superstarz Secure Dominant 69-Run Win
In the Delhi Premier League’s 13th match, the South Delhi Superstarz set a strong foundation with impressive batting. Priyansh Arya contributed 45 runs off 26 balls, Sarthak Roy added 22 runs from 16 balls, and captain Ayush Badoni and Tejaswi Dahiya each scored 57 runs, helping the team reach 228/4 in 20 overs.
The West Delhi Lions struggled with the ball, with Deepak Punia taking one wicket and Shivank Vashisht and Tishant Pawan Dabla also picking up a wicket each. In their chase, the Lions made a decent start but lost crucial wickets. Krish Yadav scored 28 runs, and Ankit Kumar-II made 47 runs. Despite efforts from Aryan Dalal and Deepak Punia, the Lions were restricted to 159 runs. South Delhi Superstarz won by 69 runs, thanks to exceptional bowling from Kuldip Yadav, Deepanshu Gulia, and Ayush Badoni.
East Delhi Riders Chase Down the Target Easily
In the 14th match of the Delhi Premier League, North Delhi Kings set a solid total of 179 runs. Openers Vaibhav Kandpal and Sarthak Ranjan each scored fifties, with Kandpal making 66 off 45 balls and Ranjan 60 off 42. Yash Dabbas contributed 21 runs off 8 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup fell apart.
East Delhi Riders had a strong bowling performance, with Simarjeet Singh taking 3 wickets for 30 runs, helping restrict North Delhi to 179 runs. In response, captain Himmat Singh led the chase with an unbeaten 85 from 50 balls, supported by Mayank Rawat’s unbeaten 66. The Riders reached their target in 18.3 overs, winning by 6 wickets. North Delhi’s bowlers struggled, with Suyash Sharma conceding 54 runs and taking just 1 wicket.
