He now boasts 1,085 runs across 26 innings, including one century and seven half-centuries. Jurel made his Test debut against England earlier this year, accumulating 190 runs in four innings, including a notable half-century.

Future Prospects
Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel commented on Jurel’s future in the national team, suggesting that both Jurel and fellow cricketer Sarfaraz Khan will have to be patient for their chances, especially with Rishabh Pant returning to the Test side. Patel noted, “I don’t think Sarfaraz and Dhruv will make a comeback to the side. Rishabh has just made a comeback. Both of them are very talented players and ready for Test cricket. But they will have to wait for their chances.”
