England cricketers who are not part of IPL squads have reportedly reached Muscat to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup. They will start their campaign on October 23.
The T20 World Cup is going to start on October 17 just two days after the completion of Indian Premier League. The final of IPL 2021 is scheduled for October 15. Quite a few English players drafted for the WC are already in UAE with the IPL franchises. Players who are not part oF IPL have also reached Muscat (Oman) to start preparation for the coveted ICC event.
England will begin their campaign against West Indies on October 23. Eoin Morgan led side did not have a great outing against the Windies in their last outing. So, this will not be an easy game.
England are already without their star all-rounder Ben Stokes and pacer Jofra Archer. Now even Sam Curran has been out of the tournament due to back injury.
