Five changes in India’s playing XI, no place for Shreyas Iyer

It is the last fixture of the Asia Cup before the final. India and Bangladesh are facing each other in the game. It was spreading noice of changing in playing in playing XI. India and Sri Lanka secured the final but this game can be the big stage for young stars to showcase their talent. India has five changes in today’s playing XI

Playing XI:

India’s captain has won the toss and India is playing with a changed playing XI. This fixture will be played without Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah. While Suryakumar Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur id taking their place. It is a debut game for Tilak Verma. This stage can provide a big exposure for him in the future. Today’s squad has the perfect combination of talent and experience.

No place for Shreyas Iyer:

Shreyas Iyer got a back spasm a few days back. Because of that, he was out of India vs. Pakistan match. In yesterday’s practice session, Shreyas Iyer was seen practicing hard which means he is out of that spasm. Everyone was waiting to see Shreyas on the field today. But he is not in the current playing XI. it seems like the BCCI medical team and team management are giving him rest before the World Cup. India Already reached in the  Asia Cup final. World Cup is around the corner and Shreyas Iyer is no one dependable batter in no. 4. So team management is trying to keep him fit before the tournament.

There is a perfect balance in today’s playing XI. however this game is not going to affect the final calculation, India is not taking it lightly. In the absence of senior players, it is going to be a big stage for the juniors. Everyone’s eye will be on debutant Tilak Verma. Prasidh Krishna is returning after a long. Mohammed Shami is in today’s game with experience and talent. Surya is a responsible batter in the middle order. His batting ability will help the middle order to score runs quickly.
