Another four years of wait will start soon. The World Cup 2023 will be going to the final stage on November 19. The final match will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India and Australia will be locking horns at the big stage. India is the unbeaten team in this tournament. Before the big clash, former boxer Floyed Meyweather Jr. congratulated Virat Kohli and the team for qualifying in the final. That video came into the limelight and went viral.
The Big Wish:
Cricket fever wrapped the World. The boxing world is also not out of that. Floyd Mayweather Jr’s wish is an example of that. Mayweather is a bright star in the boxing world. This former boxer achieved so many milestones in his career. He retired from the game with a massive record of winning 15 major World Championship. That is an excellent record.
He came for an NBA game between LA Lakers and Sacramento. He made the video with Vivek Ranadive, the owner of the Sacramento Kings. In the video, Mayweather said, “ I want to say to the Indian cricket team, congratulations, you guys are the best for making it to the World Cup finals.”
India’s Desired Goal:
The ICC Cricket World Cup final is just two sleeps away. The big stage is waiting for the two finalists India and Australia. India is in a great form. They won every match till the final. They are the only unbeaten team in the tournament. On the other hand, Australia started the tournament with few disappointments but they came back remarkably. Finally, they made their entry into the finals.
All the Indian players are in excellent form, especially Virat Kohli. Till the semifinal stage, he scored 711 runs and led the highest run scorer’s list. He broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s highest run in a single World Cup edition. On the other hand, Mohammad Shami is at the top of the highest wicket-takers list. Both the finalists met in the 2003 World Cup final but it was a heartbreaking match for all the Indians. This year, they have the opportunity to win the title for the third time.
