The New Zealand vs. Pakistan is more interesting because of its importance. Upon this match, the four teams’s qualifying scenario is dependent. New Zealand will disqualify four teams including their opponent.
On the other hand, if Pakistan wins then their qualifying scenario will be less complicated. New Zealand performed outstandingly and in the second innings, Pakistan tried well. The former cricket legend gave Babar Azam a sarcastic pinch.

While batting first, New Zealand set a huge total on the board. Rachin Ravindra registered his third century of the tournament. Kane Williamson came back and played a captain’s knock. But unfortunately, he missed a well-deserved century. However, depending on those powerful knocks, New Zealand put on a target of 402 runs.
If Pakistan wants to win the match, they must chase this huge target. They need to chase that total early if they want to be in the top 4 position. From that point, Pakistan is running slow. In 22 over, they are standing on 160/1. The match is interrupted by rain. In between this, South African legend Herschelle Gibbs made a witty social media post. On his social media handle, he wrote, “ Can someone tell Babar they chasing 400…” That post has gone viral.

This was a crucial match for both New Zealand and Pakistan. Initially, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Kiwis gave a good start. Conway walked away by scoring 35 runs. Rachin Ravindra rocked the stage with his excellence. This young Kiwi batter registered his third century. He played a knock of 108 runs in 94 balls. Kane Williamson scored 95 runs and walked away. After 50 overs, they scored 401/6.
This is a huge target to chase. This must be hard but not impossible. He lost their first wicket pretty early. Abdullah Shafique walked away by scoring 4 runs. Then Fakhar Jaman and Babar Azam built a partnership. Fakhar scored an excellent century and still batting on 106 runs. Babar Azam is unbeaten on 47 runs in 51 balls. The rain has stopped the play.
