The American Premier League appears in the second season. The tournament is commencing from December 19 to December 31. The inaugural edition was played in 2021. All the matches of the tournament will be played at the Moosa Cricket Stadium in Huston. Cricketers like Chris Gayle, Sohail Tanvir, Ben Cutting, and Mohammad Nabi are going to be a part of the tournament. The America-based T20 tournament is set to inaugurate its second season.
Seven teams will take part in this tournament. The teams are Premium Afghans, Premium Americans, Premium Aussies, Premium Canadians, Premium Indians, Premium Paks and Premium Windies. Captains are also set for each franchise. Mohammad Nabi will lead the Premium Afghans, Premium Americans will play under Dan Lawrence’s captaincy. Ben Cutting will lead Premium Aussies, Premium Canadians, and Premium India will be led by Navneet Dhaliwal and S. Sreesanth, Sohail Tanvir will be the captain of Premium Pak. Universe Boss Chris Gayle will be captaining the Premium Windies side.
The tournament will be played in the round-robin league format. Everyone will face each other only once. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals and the semifinal winners will face each other in the final clash.
