Babar Azam got dismissed in 19 runs in 11 balls. Mohammad Nawaz remained unbeaten on 21 runs. They set a target of 159 runs in front of the Kiwis.

While batting in the second innings, New Zealand lost three wickets pretty early. The Pakistani bowlers dominated the Kiwis in the first. But Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips turned the match. Mitchell remained unbeaten in 72 runs in 44 balls. He smashed 7 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. Glenn Phillips played an unbeaten knock of 70 runs in 52 balls with 5 boundaries and 3 over-boundaries. They won the match by 7 wickets and led the series by 4-0.
