Coach Michael Klinger Reveals Reason for Releases and Retentions

Gujarat Giants’ head coach Michael Klinger expressed that releasing Rana was a difficult decision. He stated, “Sneh Rana wasn’t guaranteed a spot in our starting XI. Ash Gardner is there, and we have Priya Mishra, an up-and-coming spinner.” Klinger emphasized the need for improvement within the team and acknowledged that tough calls were necessary for future success.

Despite these changes, Gujarat Giants remain hopeful for a turnaround in their performance next season. With a purse value of INR 4.4 crore available for new signings, they aim to strengthen their squad further.
