David Warner has been one of the biggest foreign players to have played Indian Premier League. But his recent forms have ditched him so much that once a must player for Sunrisers Hyderabad has failed to feature for an important match of the side against Rajasthan Royals.
David Warner has been one of the most consistent players of Indian Premier League. He has amassed 5449 runs in the league so far at a batting average of 41.59 and strike rate of 140. For the Hyderabad team, he scored more than 4000 runs(most for team) at a brilliant strike rate of 142.59. He is the only SRH captain to lead the team to winning IPL trophy in 2016. Moreover, in that season he was their second-highest run-scorer with 848 runs at a strike rate of 151. Overall, he is the fifth most run-getter in the history of IPL. He also has the most number of Orange Caps to his tally. No wonder, Warner has been a consistent performer and a prominent name. Before joining Sunrisers Hyderabad, Warner was part of Delhi Daredevils and but it was in the Hyderabad that he came in full flow.
Warner, who is considered as one of the most destructive openers across the formats is struggling hard. The first leg of IPL 2021 saw him losing captaincy to Kane Williamson. The second half saw the team taking on field without him. And, now most of the fans are getting ready to bid adieu to him as SRH player.

With him dropped for today, reckon that's that. Doubt we'll ever see David Warner in a Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey again.
