He would’ve been very useful on this pitch as Hyderabad in their first match went ballistic on this ground and scored the highest IPL score. They broke RCB’s 263 runs record in that match against Mumbai Indians. Pathirana with his Yorkers could have been a threat to the Explosive SRH Batters. He would have helped CSK to restrict SRH to a low score.
An opportunity for Maheesh Theekshana?
His own countryman replaces Matheesha Pathirana, Maheesh Theekshana would look at this opportunity and try to cement his place in this CSK lineup. This will be his first match of this season.
