He has opted to fly back to Bangladesh to facilitate the processing of his US Visa. This decision comes as Rahman prepares for the T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in the Caribbean and the United States in June. His absence from the game is notable.
Three Interesting Changes for CSK:
Mustafizur Rahman is not in the CSK’s playing xi against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Apart from his absence, Pathirana is also missing out on the spot in the playing xi. Because of that, CSK got three crucial bowlers of the game, Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theeksana, and Mukesh Chowdhary have been named in the squad.
At the time of the toss, Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad updated about the changes. He said, “ It’s going pretty well, the group is responding well. Nothing much changes for me, obviously this is a new challenge, but I’m feeling good. Pathirana has a niggle – three changes for us, Moeen Ali, Theekshana and Mukesh Chowdhary come in. The bowlers are ready to go and so are the youngsters.”
