Before stepping into the second T20I match, Indian team management made an interesting decision. Tilak Verma is not featuring in the second T20I against Bangladesh. After Shivam Dube was ruled out, the young Indian batter joined the squad.
As there is no official announcement on his absence from the playing xi, it seems like it is a strategic decision. Team India has not made any changes in the squad and playing with the same playing xi. Among all, Tilak Verma’s absence grabbed attention.
Toss Update:
As the second T20I match unfolded at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and opted to bowl first. After winning the toss, Shanto said, “I’ll like to bowl first. Looks a good wicket, I think dew might come in the second innings. If you look at all the international matches and IPL, looks a pretty good wicket, big score in all the matches.”
