The much-anticipated schedule for the 2024 T20I World Cup is set to be unveiled at 7 pm IST tonight. The ICC event, scheduled to be held in the United States of America (USA) and the Caribbean (West Indies) from June 4 to 30, will feature 20 countries, making it the first time in history that such a large number of teams will participate in the T20I World Cup.

The Cricket fans in India have a very good news. Disney+ Hotstar will stream the World Cup matches for free for all the viewers. As per the reports, the free version is only available on the mobile. It is an amazing initiative by Hotstar to draw more users on their website.

The teams will be divided into four groups, each comprising five teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next stage, where they will be divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from each of these groups will then progress to the knockout stage, consisting of semifinals and the final.

Some of the new teams participating in this edition include Papua New Guinea, Canada, Oman, Namibia, Nepal, and Uganda. Apart from the top 10 ICC-ranked sides, teams have qualified through European qualifiers, East Asia-Pacific qualifiers, and American qualifiers.
