After winning the second T20 match, Team India faced Zimbabwe in the third T20I. While chasing the target of 183 in the second innings, Zimbabwe struggled till the beginning. In the fourth over of the second innings, Avesh Khan came to bowl and Brian Bennett was on strike.
In the first delivery of the fourth over Avesh delivered short with width, and Brian Bennett cut powerfully toward backward point. Bishnoi, stationed there, leaped and grabbed the ball with both hands before falling to the ground. His reflexes were sharp as he made the catch, displaying agility akin to a hawk.
After the match ended, Avesh Khan praised Ravi Bishnoi. He said, “We were shocked. He is a good fielder and works on his fielding. I got the wicket, but it should go in his tally .”
Captain’s Praise:
After Bishnoi’s catch, Team India started dominating the game. That catch was an important one as Avesh Khan dismissed Brian Bennett. After that, Bishnoi got praise from everywhere. Team India’s captain Shubman Gill was one of them as he also praised the bowler.
Gill said, “It was delightful to watch. Very happy with the team’s win. The catch that Bishi took was absolutely remarkable. Cricket is a team sport. It is very important to have fun when you are fielding, and if you are having fun, then you are always in the game.”
