“I just want to thank all of you” Musheer Khan Thanks Fans for Their Prayers After Surviving Car Accident

After showcasing exceptional domination in the recently ended Duleep Trophy, young batter Musheer Khan faced a big setback in his life. On Friday, the youngster met a road accident in Lucknow and heavily injured his neck area. Depending on this accident he went out of the cricket action. On Sunday, Musheer and his father, Naushad Khan, shared a video on Instagram. They reassured fans that Musheer is safe and on the road to recovery.

The Big Setback:

Musheer, a talented allrounder from Mumbai was on his way to Lucknow from Azamgarh for the upcoming Irani Cup match. On October 1, Mumbai will face the Rest of India team in the Irani Cup match. Unfortunately, he was involved in an accident during his journey.

The SUV, which carried Musheer, his father Naushad Khan, and two others, collided with a median and rolled over. As a result of the crash, Musheer suffered a neck fracture, sidelining him for several months from cricket. This injury means he will miss the Irani Cup and the early matches of the Ranji Trophy season, impacting his participation with the Mumbai team.

Message to the Fans: 

Musheer Khan shared his first update following a recent car accident. In a video posted on Instagram, Musheer and his father, Naushad Khan addressed his supporters. They assured everyone that Musheer is safe and on the path to recovery.

Musheer’s father said, “First of all, I thank god for granting us this new life, and thank all the people who prayed for us, all our well-wishers, fans, our relatives.”

Later he added, “ I also want to thank the MCA [Mumbai Cricket Association] and the BCCI who are taking full care of Musheer, and they will give you whatever updates there are in the future. I just want to say, one needs to persevere to get what one couldn’t, and to be grateful for what one has got. This is life.”

Later the young batter added, “First of all I want to thank almighty Allah for granting me a new life. I’m fine as of now, and abbu [father] was with me [in the crash], and he’s fine too. I just want to thank all of you for your blessings.”
