He specifically mentioned his love for Test cricket and his desire to commentate on high-profile series such as Australia vs India and the Ashes. These series are known for their intense competition and high stakes, which he finds particularly engaging as a commentator.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 between India and Australia will be played over five Tests for the first time since 1992. This series is part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. Australia will host the series between November 2024 and January 2025.
India’s WTC 2023-25 cycle begins with a two-match Test series against the West Indies in July 2023, followed by a tour to South Africa in December 2023 and January 2024. India will then host England for a five-match Test series in January-February 2024, followed by home series against Bangladesh in September-October 2024 and New Zealand in October-November 2024.
The BGT series against Australia will conclude India’s WTC 2023-25 fixtures. The nine teams in the WTC cycle compete in three home and three away series, earning points for wins, ties, and draws.
