While defending the total, the USA took 2 quick and important wickets of India. After that, they picked up the wicket of Rishabh Pant as well. But Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube tried the balance the team and they did it beautifully, and finished the game for India as well. With that win, India qualified for the Super-8 stage. Saurabh Netravalkar took 2 crucial wickets and Ali Khan picked up 1 wicket.
