The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially launched the event song for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, titled “Whatever It Takes.” This upbeat track is a collaboration featuring the all-girl pop group W.i.S.H., renowned music director Mikey McCleary, and composer Parth Parekh, produced by Bay Music House.
The song is now available for download and streaming on all major platforms, accompanied by a visually striking music video that showcases iconic moments in women’s cricket. The choreography in the video emphasizes the tournament as a must-watch event.
W.i.S.H. expressed their pride in creating the official anthem, highlighting the unifying power of cricket. “We are honored to contribute to such a special occasion and can’t wait to see players like Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana perform the hook step from our music video,” they stated.

The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to commence on October 3 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE, featuring ten nations vying for the title, with the final scheduled for October 20 at Dubai International Stadium.
With this launch, the ICC aims to further elevate the profile of women’s cricket on the global stage, marking a significant milestone for the sport as it continues to gain momentum and recognition.
