Struggle in the First Innings:
India started the match well. They scored 80 runs in the first 10 overs. After that, the Aussie bowlers started dominating the Indian side. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul played responsible innings. At the start, Gill walked away quickly by scoring 4 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma missed a well-deserved half-century. Unfortunately, he got out on 47 runs in 31 runs. He smashed 4 boundaries and 3 over-boundaries.
After his dismissal, Shreyas Iyer came. He hit the boundary in the second ball and got out in the third ball. That was a setback. Virat Kohli scored another half-century. He played a responsible knock of 54 runs in 63 balls. He hit 4 boundaries. In a pressured situation, he took some responsible singles and carried India in crucial times. KL Rahul was Mr. Dependable for India today. After Kohli got out, Rahul dragged the team. He played a knock of 66 runs in 107 runs. His inning contained 1 boundary.
After that, India’s batting just collapsed. Suryakumar Yadav got out on 18 runs. Jadeja walked away with 9 runs. Kuldeep Yadav scored 10 runs. Jasprit Bumrah got out scoring 1 run. Mohammed Siraj remained not out on 9 runs.
