With the semi-final loss against New Zealand India’s dream run for World Cup 2019 shattered. While there are praises and criticisms are coming from all the corners, players took to Twitter to share their emotions as well.
The Dream Run Ends
India had a close fight against New Zealand in the first semi-final of World Cup 2019. Virat Kohli’s team began the campaign as one of the favourites and they were expected to lift the Cup. Arguably this is the last edition of World Cup that MS Dhoni is playing. So no wonder the focus was on him. India, chasing 240 faced a top order collapse. When everyone hoped for a massive debacle, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja did the recovery. They kept the dreams alive but fell short of 18 runs. This was a huge disappointment for all Indian cricket fans all over the world.

Indian cricketers who lived the moments and are heartbroken the most didn’t forget to thank the fans. They shared their emotions on their Twitter handles.
