However, the initial training revealed difficulties for India’s top order. According to local reports, several players were caught edging behind the stumps, hinting at the challenges of adapting to Australian pitches.

Skipper Rohit Sharma remains absent due to personal reasons, potentially missing the opening Test, which puts additional pressure on the team’s batting lineup to stabilise and adjust quickly to local conditions.
