India registered one of the smoothest wins in the Asia Cup 2023 last night against Sri Lanka. Throughout the tournament India’s performance was amazing. Batting, Bowling, and fielding, In every department India’s performance was clinical. Specially before the World Cup it was a huge boost for India. Siraj was magnificent in the finals. Batters were in their absolute best form. India and Australia will face each other before the big tournament. Today BCCI will announce their 15-member squad before the ODI clash.
India’s scenario before the ODI series against Australia:
This 15-member ODI squad will be decided focusing on the World Cup. the ODI clash will be taking place from September 22. It is going to be the final series for both of the teams before the World Cup. it will be helpful for Australia to play this ODI series Against India. India will host the World Cup, so playing on Indian soil, before the World Cup will be beneficiary for Australia.
India still has not announced the squad against Australia. It seems like almost the World Cup squad will play this series to prepare themselves well. World Cup team has already announced but waiting is still going on for this ODI series. This series will be a boost for the winning teams. This can be a big stage to practice before the biggest cricket tournament.

Australia has already announced the squad. Pat Cummins will lead the team. The other players will be Sean Abbott, Alex Carey, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Spencer Johnson, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, David Warner and Adam Zampa.
Those three ODIs will take place in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot. Cummins was not in Ashes due to a Wrist injury. He is finally back in the squad and going to lead the team. Maxwell is also coming back from an ankle injury. They were not a part of the South Africa series but came back in the ODI series against India.
