India’s tour to Australia has received the final nod and accordingly the series schedule is out. According to a report published in ESPNCricinfo, the tour will begin with SCG One Dai International and end with Test in Brisbane.
Sydney and Canberra will be the starting points of India’s tour of Down Under. According to ESPNCricinfo, Australia and New South Wales Government have cleared India’s tour to Australia that is scheduled to begin next month. As per the quarantine protocols are concerned, the Indian team and the Australians landing to Australia after a two-month Indian Premier League assignment will quarantine in Sydney with nearby availabilities of training facilities. The tour, as expected will begin with the ODI series, followed by the T20I series and Test series.

The first two ODIs on November 27 and 29 will be played at the SCG and the third ODI and first T20I will be organized at Manuka Oval. Then the team will return to Sydney for the remaining T20Is. Then the Test series will begin with the Adelaide Oval Test match followed by three Test matches in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. The first Test will be a pink-ball Test at Adelaide Oval scheduled between December 17-21. If the COVID-19 situation does not allow MCG to host the Boxing Day Test, Adelaide will be the venue for the same as well (December 26-30).

Confirmation of quarantine protocols arrived after the approval of the NSW Government on Thursday. However, it still requires a final sign-off from the BCCI and that will bring relief to all parties concerned.
