The 12th edition of Indian Premier League is upon us. The excitement is at its peak as the fans now get divided to support the 8 different city-based franchises. It promises to be one heck of a tournament.
While there are some exciting young talents itching to showcase their talent on the big stage, there are some who could be on the verge of finishing their IPL careers. Age does take its toll and it could be making an impact on some of the big names in world cricket.
Let’s have a look the players could make their final IPL appearance
#5 Imran Tahir
Imran Tahir, over the years, has proved to be a world-class bowler. He has bamboozled many batsmen with his tricky spin. South Africa also went on to become the world No.1 bowler in the shortest format of the game. Tahir has proved to be a brilliant bowler and an asset to the team he represented.
But that was not the case when he played for Chennai Super Kings last year. The leg-spinner bagged 6 wickets in 6 matches with an economy of 9.09 and an average of 22.26. With Tahir turning 40 this month, it would not be a surprise if CSK let go of him before the 2020 auction. This edition will be Tahir’s 6th appearance and probably the last in the IPL.
