The answers IPL franchises are looking for
The franchises owners spoke to the Times of India and shared their thought process. They first want to know about the meeting and when the board is planning to have a meeting with all the franchises. According to the team owners it is already too late and hence the communication must be done at the soonest. Since this is going to be a TV-only event, the franchises need to know about the prime-time consumption, screen-time availability to finalize the sponsorship deals. For that they need to understand the scenario better and in more detail. The team owners expect revenue distribution from the central pool. They know that they would be losing a good amount of money but they do not know about the board’s understanding of the same. Will BCCI compensate whatever the franchises will lose?

That is a big question.
Player-related details is another concern of the IPL franchises. The BCCI policies regarding how they players will be taken to UAE, the related travels, travel of overseas players, day-to-day are the things the franchises need to have clear idea about. The next big case of concern is the bio-secure bubble. England managed to host West Indies in bio-secure bubble and the BCCI is reportedly thinking over the same for the safety of everyone involved with IPL. But how will that be done? Unless the franchises are informed in detail, they are not able to work on their own plans.
