As Kolkata Knight Riders are set to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 28th Match of IPL 2020 on October 12, Andre Russell’s injury could be an issue for the side. There is nothing official yet from the camp about the extent of injury yet though.

During KKR’s last outing, Andre Russell hurt himself while trying to get a catch. He accidentally dived into the advertisement boards after missing the catch and hurt his knee. Which is why he seems to be a doubtful started for Kolkata Knight Riders’ match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday at the iconic Sharjah stadium. After the match against Kings XI Punjab on Saturday, Dinesh Karthik, KKR skipper was asked about the same to which Karthik said, “Whenever Russell gets injured, you know it is hard. He is a very special player, he is a very special person. We need to go and look at him.”
