As Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab are all set to fly to UAE, the players and franchises have taken to social media accounts to share the joy with fans. Mohammed Shami posted a picture from the flight whereas Rajasthan Royals joined the scene too.

Punjab and Rajasthan off to Dubai
Reportedly the first batch of the teams, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals will be leaving for UAE on Thursday. They will be leaving in Chartered flights booked for their squads and team management. They should reach UAE by Thursday evening according to the scheduled time. Earlier Kings XI Punjab CEP shared the information with all. “We will be flying on Thursday for UAE. All is well with the squad. Once we land we will be quarantining ourselves for 6 days as per the protocols. Some of our international players will join us in the UAE itself by next week.”
Rajasthan Royals COO Jake Lush McCrum also told, ‘‘We are following the robust testing protocols set by the BCCI. We have booked a charter for our team, management, and support staff including net bowlers to take us to the UAE. Upon arrival in the UAE, we will undergo another test followed by our six-day quarantine. during which three tests will be conducted on Day 1, 3, and 6. If all three tests return negative, the members of the team will enter the biosecure environment and undergo tests every fifth day for the entire tournament.’’

On Thursday Morning, Mohammed Shami, the Kings XI Punjab bowler posted a few photos on his Twitter from the flight. He wrote, “Apne munde 🦁🦁🦁off to Dubai ✈️”. The pictures show the excited Kings XI team wearing masks heading for IPL 2020.
