Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first. For Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma walked in which gives a relief to the fanbase. However, the absence of Hardik Pandya is still relevant. This does not only harm Mumbai Indians cause, this may be a concern for India too. Reportedly, Pandya is recovering from his injury.
Speaking about the match, Rohit Said, “Feeling good. Anmolpreet Singh who played well first game misses out. That’s the only change. Missed some basics of cricket in the first game. It was not a big target, certain areas we need to focus on. Hopefully we can execute today.”
On the other hand, KKR captain said, “Bowling first worked well in the first game. Want to use the same formula. Wicket looks well put together. I think we can’t get complacent, sport has a funny way of biting you in the backside if you get ahead of yourself. It’s a different challenge here today. Same XI.”
