During their second league stage match, the right-arm pacer and the Royal Challengers Bangalore opener got into a fight on the pitch. The two argued throughout the game and then again as they shook hands afterward.

In response to Kohli’s actions, Gautam Gambhir spoke up in favor of his bowler, and the former India opener got into an argument with Kohli. Since that occurrence, shouts of “Kohli Kohli” have been used to harass even Gambhir.

In the IPL 2023, Gamhhir Kohli experienced a tense situation as well.

At the time, Kohli was captaining RCB for the first time throughout a full season, while Gambhir served as KKR’s captain.

Regarding the current game, LSG have set a target of 177 for KKR to reach at home. Although the two-time IPL Champions are now eliminated, LSG must win this match. If the Krunal Pandya-led team loses versus KKR, it will be challenging to go to the next stage.

A victory will guarantee LSG’s advancement to the playoffs. Nevertheless, they won’t be able to place in the top two and will remain at number three regardless of how other matches turn out. Kolkata Knight Riders have been eliminated from the IPL. But they will look to finish the tournament with a win. The Kolkata Knight Riders are in a tough situation to win the match as LSG have pulled back things after the powerplay. But with Rinku Singh at the crease, KKR would believe.
