The Bangalore team has reached the Wankhede Stadium and are sweating it out ahead of the crucial encounter. During the practice, the backbone of the current Indian team Virat Kohli met the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. There were all laughters between the two and both were seen having a hearty moment.
Not only in India but also around the world, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar are two of the most adored cricket players. In preparation for the Mumbai Indians vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore game in the IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium, these two legendary players had a training session together. Fans were ecstatic to see Kohli and Sachin in the same frame as they were seen laughing together as they interacted. Social media is awash with images of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli’s encounter.
Virat has always considered Sachin as the GOAT of cricket. He has considered him as his role model. The RCB batter ahead during an interview on Jio Cinema heaped praise on the Master Blaster. He said that he feels embarrassed when compared with Sachin.
“I feel embarrassed when I am compared to Sachin though I get where these people are coming from with all those statistics and stuff. But these stats tell you a different story. The impact a player leaves on you as a child growing up is very different. I just laugh it off every time. These people have no idea about the game,” said Kohli.
“Sachin Tendulkar always has been emotion for me, if you speak to anyone, they look at him as their own because everyone has faith and trust in him, he was the source of inspiration and comfort when he scored runs, life was good,” Kohli added. “Nobody should be compared with Sachin and Viv Richards because they revolutionized the game in their era and the belief people had in them was rare, it rare to have that belief in one player.”
