The first match of the last doubleheader of the IPL 2024 has seen a clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Both teams prepared eagerly, but rain disrupted the proceedings. Although the toss took place, with Kolkata Knight Riders opting to bowl first, the weather did not cooperate. Persistent rain delays forced officials to wait, but the match was eventually abandoned without a single ball being bowled. Despite their readiness, both teams were left disappointed as the rain washed out their final group stage clash.
