Ishan Kishan Made a Surprise Appearance in the Ongoing Duleep Trophy, Dazzles with an Exceptional Century

But in the second phase, India’s wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan shined with a bat against India B. His century gave a huge boost to the team.

Ishan Kishan made a surprising appearance for India C in the Duleep Trophy second-round match against India B at Rural Development Trust Stadium B in Anantapur. He missed the first round of matches due to a groin injury sustained while playing in the Buchi Babu tournament. Initially named in the India D squad, Kishan was replaced by Sanju Samson after his injury kept him out of the initial games.

Despite the setback, Kishan made a strong comeback. When India C lost a few early wickets, Kishan stepped up to the challenge. He scored a remarkable century, contributing significantly to the team’s efforts. His innings of 111 runs off 126 balls featured 14 fours and 3 sixes, maintaining an impressive strike rate of 88.1.
